Direct Reduced Iron

DRI

Direct Reduced Iron (DRI), also known as sponge iron, is a porous metallic iron product obtained by reducing iron ore with reducing gases (natural gas or syngas) below the melting point of iron.
This advanced ironmaking process produces a high-purity, highly metallized feedstock that is ideal for electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking. Unlike traditional blast furnace routes, DRI production offers lower carbon emissions, reduced energy consumption, and the flexibility to produce high-quality steel without the need for coke.
Our DRI features high metallic iron content (85-90% Fe), excellent metallization levels (90-92%), and low impurity content, making it the preferred choice for modern steel producers seeking to optimize quality, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
